THE SERVICE, EXPLAINED

Microsoft 365 administration and support covers the day-to-day operation of an existing tenant. It can include approved account and licence changes, email troubleshooting, collaboration permissions and escalation to Microsoft or other providers. Setup and migration are separate projects; the operating scope depends on the tenant, licences, workloads and access granted.

Where would you like to start?

WHAT WE DO

A defined scope for your business.

Once a migration is complete, the tenant still needs operational ownership. Employees join or leave, shared resources change, and email or collaboration issues need a consistent reporting route. ITZ defines who can request changes, who approves access and how completed actions are recorded.

This service supports ongoing operations. Microsoft 365 Setup & Migration covers moving to or implementing the platform. Device Management addresses endpoint enrolment and configuration. Major security redesigns, compliance work and content migrations require separately defined scopes rather than being silently absorbed into routine support.

01

Tenant onboarding

Review current roles, licensed services, authorised requesters and unresolved operating issues.

02

Accounts and licences

Carry out approved user and licence changes within the agreed access and approval process.

03

Email and collaboration support

Investigate the scoped Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint or OneDrive issues and relevant permissions.

04

Documentation and escalation

Record actions, identify provider dependencies and agree ongoing review and escalation responsibilities.

MAKE AN INFORMED CHOICE

The right approach depends on the problem.

Choose the right starting point
Your situation A suitable approach What we confirm first
You are moving email into Microsoft 365 Plan a migration project Source environment, domains, data and cutover
The tenant is live but lacks a support owner Establish ongoing administration Workloads, licences, roles and request authority
Devices need central configuration Review device management as a linked scope Licences, enrolment model, ownership and existing devices

DETAILS THAT MATTER

Staff departures need a sequence, not just an account deletion.

A leaver request should identify when access must end, who can approve the change and how business data should be handled. Blocking access, reviewing sessions, preserving required records and arranging authorised data access are distinct tasks. Removing a licence or deleting an account should follow an approved process that considers the data and services involved.

For example, a manager may need access to an approved handover mailbox while finance requires records to remain available. Those requirements need confirmation before routine account removal. We do not infer retention obligations or approve data access on behalf of the business. Tenant capability and licensing are reviewed, and legal or regulatory retention decisions remain with the appropriate owner.

Authority

The business approves administrative access and user-data decisions.

Lifecycle

Joiner, mover and leaver tasks follow a recorded process.

Service boundary

Routine support is separated from migrations and major configuration projects.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Answers before you commit.

Does this include Microsoft 365 subscriptions?

Licences and support services are separate commercial items unless the proposal explicitly combines them. Required features and the customer subscription must be checked before changes.

Can you guarantee restoration of deleted cloud data?

No. Recovery depends on the workload, retention, backup coverage, timing and permissions. We assess the actual configuration and available recovery options.

Does this include every Microsoft product?

No. The supported workloads, hours and administration tasks are listed in the agreement. Azure workloads, specialist applications and major migrations require separate review.
