Inventory and dependencies
Record the equipment, connections, applications and provider relationships involved in the move.
ITZ / IT SOLUTIONS / UAE
Move the equipment with a plan for the work it supports.
Technical planning for an office move, covering retained equipment, destination readiness, approved disconnection and reconnection, and checks of essential business systems.
THE SERVICE, EXPLAINED
Office IT relocation manages the technical transition between an existing workplace and its new premises. It starts with an inventory and a destination-readiness review, then defines disconnection, transport responsibilities, reconnection and business-task testing. The plan identifies expected downtime and dependencies; a move cannot be promised to cause no interruption.
Map retained systems and plan the transition to a new site.

Discuss this requirement ↗WHAT WE DO
The main risk in an office move is assuming that equipment which worked at the old site will work immediately at the new one. Internet activation, patching, address changes, access permissions and third-party applications can affect the result even if every device arrives safely.
ITZ scopes the technical move around the equipment and services that must continue. Physical transport, insurance, specialist handling and fit-out work require named responsibilities. Existing assets are assessed for reuse; replacements and major infrastructure changes remain separately approved work.
Record the equipment, connections, applications and provider relationships involved in the move.
Review network points, internet handoff, cabinet power, access and relevant configuration differences.
Agree approved disconnection, labelling, configuration records and the responsibilities for transport and reconnection.
Validate the agreed services at the new site and record issues, provider dependencies and remaining work.
MAKE AN INFORMED CHOICE
| Your situation | A suitable approach | What we confirm first |
|---|---|---|
| A move date exists but the new site is incomplete | Complete readiness review before committing the cutover | Provider activation, fit-out and building access |
| The same systems will move together | Plan a coordinated technical transition | Inventory, transport responsibility and business downtime |
| Old and new sites must operate simultaneously | Assess a phased migration | Duplicate infrastructure, secure connectivity and application constraints |
DETAILS THAT MATTER
Agree a go/no-go decision with the business owner. Destination connectivity, physical access and required equipment should be assessed before the point at which disruption becomes difficult to reverse. Where a fallback is feasible, document its prerequisites; retaining the old service or premises may require separate provider and landlord arrangements.
For a business using a local file server, moving the device is only one task. The new network, permissions, DNS and application paths may also need review. Record relevant configurations before disconnection and test representative user tasks after reconnection. A move involving obsolete or unsupported hardware may need a staged replacement project rather than a simple lift-and-shift.
Inventory, configurations and destination readiness are reviewed.
Authorised contacts own the technical and transport decisions.
Users test the systems that matter to daily operations.

The proposal defines the deliverables and acceptance checks included in your engagement.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Transport, packaging, insurance and specialist handling must be explicitly assigned in the proposal. They are not automatically included in a technical relocation engagement.
No such guarantee is made. Expected interruptions, critical work windows and available staging options are agreed against the actual systems and providers involved.
Yes, if scoped and planned. Combining a move with major changes adds dependencies and testing needs, so it should be assessed before the cutover date.
