WEB DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT

WordPress development
in Dubai & the UAE.

Give your team a website it can manage with a considered WordPress setup. We plan the editing experience, theme and extensions around the features your business actually needs.

WHAT THIS SERVICE IS

A plain explanation of the work.

WordPress development is a site on WordPress planned around the people who will log in after launch. Themes, plugins and the block editor are chosen because they serve those editors, not because a listicle called them essential. A WordPress site you cannot update without breaking the layout is a failure of the brief, even if it looked fine on launch day.

We distinguish a careful WordPress build from a pile of nulled plugins. Licences must be legitimate. WooCommerce, multilingual plugins and membership add-ons are included only when named, because each one changes hosting, backup and update load.

Existing WordPress sites can be extended, migrated or rebuilt. “Please fix the theme” on a five-year-old page-builder stack may be a rebuild in disguise; we will say so after looking.

A CLEAR PICTURE

A labelled diagram, not a decoration.

A WordPress site you can actually edit
  1. Editors & roles Who may draft, publish or manage users.
  2. Content types Pages, posts and any extra types in the brief.
  3. Theme & plugins The smallest set that does the job.
  4. Host & updates Where it runs and who patches it.

WHO IT IS FOR

The situations this page is written for.

Teams that publish news, projects or services regularly, organisations that need several editors with different permissions, and businesses that already standardised on WordPress for other properties.

  • Editors who must change hours, menus and case studies without FTP.
  • Companies that need Arabic and English in a supported multilingual plugin.
  • Stores that have already chosen WooCommerce, handled on the commerce page when the catalogue is the main job.
  • IT owners who want updates and backups described, not hoped for.

TYPICAL SCOPE

What a proposal usually names.

01

Content structure

Pages, posts, custom types if needed, and menus that match the sitemap. Reusable blocks beat a unique snowflake layout on every page. Who may publish is set with roles, not a shared admin password.

02

Theme implementation

A theme or block theme that implements the design responsively. Custom PHP is used where the brief requires it and is documented. We avoid locking content into a page builder if a simpler block pattern will do.

03

Plugin selection

A short list with a reason, a licence owner, and an update expectation. Caching, security and backup plugins are chosen to fit the host. Conflicting plugins are not stacked to look busy.

04

Editor handover

A working session or a written guide for routine tasks: a new service page, a news post, an image, a menu item. What must not be dragged in the builder is stated. Admin users we created for the project are removed or listed.

HOW THE WORK RUNS

The sequence we follow once the brief is clear.

A WordPress site you can actually edit
  1. Decide what editors must do unaided

If they only change phone numbers, the build can be simpler.

  2. Build the theme and types

Against the approved sitemap and design.

  3. Add only justified plugins

Each one has a named job and a renewal owner.

  4. Practise an edit

Your editor creates a draft before launch, not after.

INCLUDED AND QUOTED SEPARATELY

Labour versus things that sit on their own line.

Included in a typical proposal

  • WordPress implementation of the agreed pages and types.
  • A documented plugin list.
  • Editor walkthrough for routine changes.

Quoted separately

  • Premium theme or plugin licences in your name.
  • WooCommerce catalogue work unless this proposal includes the store.
  • Ongoing core and plugin updates, unless maintenance is signed.
  • Content writing and image production.

AFTER HANDOVER

What you should hold when the work is done.

You hold wp-admin, hosting and the licence dashboard. Auto-updates are configured as agreed. A staging site, if included, is explained so people do not edit production by habit.

WordPress is not finished at launch. PHP, WordPress core and plugins age. Maintenance is how you avoid an emergency rebuild. Declining maintenance is allowed; the risk is then yours and should be conscious.

PRACTICAL NOTES

Details that usually affect the proposal.

Hosting PHP version, memory limits and cron are part of whether WordPress stays healthy. A cheap plan that cannot run the plugins you need is not a bargain. We will match the host to the plugin list, or tell you the host must change, before go-live rather than after the first timeout.

Multilingual setups fail when one language is a dump of machine text nobody reviews. If you want Arabic and English, budget for a reviewer who knows the services. The plugin only switches direction and stores the fields. It does not know your licence numbers or your clinic hours.

PLANNING THE WORK

Questions worth asking.

Can our marketing intern be an administrator?

They can, but they should not. Editor or a custom role is safer. Administrator is for people who understand plugins and users.

Do you use a specific page builder?

Only if the brief benefits from it. We will not add one for its own sake.

Will you keep a back door plugin for support?

No. Support access is an account you can disable, listed in the handover.
