The most expensive habit on Dubai web projects is opening Photoshop — or Figma, or a Canva board — before anyone has written the page list. You get a beautiful homepage of a company that does not exist yet: no place for WhatsApp, no Arabic toggle, no contact path, six services invented because the layout had six slots. Wireframes and a sitemap are how you stop paying for decoration twice.
ITZ does not sell a 40-page UX theatre. ITZ sells a shared picture of what you are building, so nobody discovers in week six that nobody owns the About copy. That picture is a sitemap and mobile wireframes. Colour comes after. That is how web design in Dubai runs when the job is a real business site, not a poster. Pair it with a written brief.
Start with a page list, not a palette
Write the pages in a document both of you can edit. For most UAE service businesses the skeleton is small. The practical list is in pages every UAE business website needs: Home, About, one page per main service, Contact, often FAQ. Extra URLs only when they have a job.
User paths: WhatsApp, call, then the form
Draw the tap on the wireframe. If it is not on the first mobile frame, it will not appear magically in the polished file. WhatsApp and forms are structure, not plugins.
Grey boxes on purpose
Low fidelity stops people arguing about a shade of beige before they agree the offer. If a partner can only comment on colour, they are not reviewing structure. Show them the grey version first.

Do I need a wireframe if I already like a template?
Yes, at least a page list and a first-screen frame. A template is someone else’s IA. Your WhatsApp, Arabic and services still have to fit.
How long does sitemap and wireframe work take?
For an SME brochure, often a few days once the brief exists. It saves weeks of colour revisions that were really structure arguments.
Can we skip this and go straight to design?
You can. You will pay when the pretty homepage cannot fit Contact, Arabic or the real offer. ITZ would rather you see the grey boxes first.
